the beginning of the end.

sometimes in the end, you start thinking about the beginning.

in fact, this may be true all the time.   in the end, when all is said and done, when the final curtain closes, and the chapter ends and you graduate from college or break up with your first love, or reach a milestone…. you start thinking about the very beginning.   The nervousness you felt when you first step foot on campus. The excitement of your first date.   The awkwardness of your first day on the job.  The embarassment of your first time naked with him.

its the way you feel in the beginning that keeps you addicted.   the anxiousness of the unknown paired with the endless possibilities of what could be create a sort of euphoria thats nothing short of the honeymoon stage.

and no matter what lies in store for you, that honeymoon stage sets a lasting impression in your mind. that honeymoon usually determines how fast you fall in love, or how committed you are to your studies, or how much of an investment to put into your 401k.

and even though 9 times outta 10 you think its the end of the best thing in ur life.. its actually the beginning of something better.

sometimes in the end you start thinking about the beginning.  and sometimes the end is just as sweet.
