Stop Yourself.

16 Nov

Hi, Can you do me a favor?

Can you just, stop yourself?

Stop yourself from letting him call you at work.  From letting him text u goodnight.  Just stop.   Stop yourself from checking his Facebook 5 times a day and from calling him and hanging up.   Stop yourself from making appointments and having lunch in his area.   Stop yourself from “accidentally” bumping into him, or daydreaming about your first kiss.

Quit right now, while you’re ahead.  Please.  I beg of you.  Stop yourself from allowing him to pay you compliments and buy you lunch.  From thinking he’s funny, or cute, and definitely stop from thinking his birthmark or his arms are sexy.

Stop yourself from letting him make you feel good.  Matter fact, lets do one better.  Stop yourself from liking it.

Why?  What do you mean why?

Because you’re getting used to it.  You’re getting used to him looking at you the same way you look at him.  You’re getting used to the laughing, and the giggling, and the inside jokes.   You’re getting used to the “goodnight” texts and the “good morning” phone calls.

So do us all a favor and just stop yourself from getting used to him. Because, as much as you deserve all of it, you don’t wanna have to get un-used to him, do you?
