She just isn’t fair.
The way she peeks over at him through her bangs just isn’t fair. How her hand grazes his when he’s handing her something. The way those leggings hug her every curve. Has he heard her say his name though? Or see her walk away? She knows exactly what she’s doing. That shit just ain’t fair man.
There he goes again.
Sounding like Barry White on the phone. Wearin’ short sleeves so she can see his rock hard tattooed arms. Watching her, watch him. Sayin’ all the right things at all the right times, chipping away at this wall she’s built around her. There he goes again. And he just isn’t fair.
Because she just got outta something. And he still kinda is in something. But she on his brain all day, and his name is on her tongue in every way, shape and form. They ain’t ready for a full on relationship, but they are ready to try…with and for each other.
What’s stopping them? Life, of course. And that just isn’t fair.
