“Just because someone doesn’t love you the way you want them to, doesn’t mean they don’t love you with all that they’ve got.”

I’ve been sitting on this quote for awhile, but it never really made sense to me until recently.  We are all different people — with different backgrounds and different life experiences. Different birthdays and zodiac signs and therefore views of the world.  That’s what makes us individuals.   That’s what makes us special.

Some of us are blessed with compassion and understanding and patience.  Some of us have the ability to put ourselves in someone else’s shoes, accept our faults, and grow.   And then there are some of us who, to put it simply, are our own worst enemy.  We refuse to see shit other then the way we see shit.   We’re stubborn, hard headed and to hell with being stuck between a rock and a hard place.  We ARE the rock and the hard place.  Shit.

You know what though? Its ok.  He’s just stubborn and he won’t change.  And you love him anyway.  I get it.  He loves you with all that he got.  Coo.

But just because someone loves you with all they got, doesn’t mean you still don’t deserve better.
