As I mentioned in my last post, I’ve come to a sort of crossroads with this little blog of mine. As I continue to write about my experiences (or lack thereof) and my thoughts (or overload of) or my feelings (which perpetually confuse me), I also sit here and talk to people about their experiences, thoughts and feelings.
The more I talk to people, the more I start to understand one thing: I only know what I know.
I mean, to truly understand something, you have to have been through it and I’ve only gone through so much. Not to say that I haven’t been to hell and back, because I have and this blog is a testament to that. But, I only really understand what I’ve been through.
I’m introducing a new blog concept to try and bring you someone else’s point of view. Reel Street Love is a video blog, bringing you real advice, from real people, about what’s real for them. Periodically, there will be new media uploaded to the site, with one of my friends or a stranger on the street spitting game.
I stole the idea from A Man’s Guide, and thought it would be interesting to see the points of view from both men and women of all ages. So, here goes nothing, and I hope it’s intrigued you as much as it has intrigued me.
This was a really good idea! i just checked it out… and im loving it already! =)
Amazing idea Rach! I’m excited to follow and see where it goes and it’s definitely off to a great start 🙂 You shutting down this blog though?
I love you’re adoption of this idea . I’ve already checked the videos posted so far and i love it . Especially the elder man who gave advice, he’s so wise and everything he said I adopted into my own perspective. I think this idea will open eyes for everyone because it includes everyone !
